Quicklinks
With Taroby's Unified Messaging capabilities, you'll be able to handle incoming voice messages along with your emails, faxes and so forth.
Within the inbox, you can see a small symbol on the left indicating which type of message you have received and are about to open:
Needless to say that it is also possible to send sms, faxes and so on from within Taroby.
Assigning of Messages within a Team
Messages that arrive and have never been read by anyone of your team before are marked with the image "
".
By clicking on this image, a small layer opens:
To assign this message to anyone in your team or even yourself, all you have to do is to select the desired user from the listbox. The assigned user will then see this message on top of his other messages.
The "
" symbol changes into the image "
" which indicates, that the message was assigned and somebody has been made responsible for the task(s) related to this message.
Symbol overview:
- new messages that were never opened by anyone of the team
- assigned to a member of the team, but NOT to yourself
- assigned to yourself (you must deal with these messages!)
Advantages:
message. Hint:
Do not confuse the messages symbol with the read & unread functionality in usual mail programs: In Taroby, the read/unread status of a message is saved per user, whereas the assigning of messages is tracked in relation to the entire team.
Comments / Notes attached to Messages
To add a comment, simply click on the bubble speech icon and a window opens where you can see previous comments and add new comments also:
You can see the entire discussion of your team members about a specific message subject.
Symbol meaning & commands:
- ADD a comment / VIEW READ comment (1)
- ADD a comment / VIEW UNREAD comment (1)
- ADD a comment / VIEW READ comment (more than one)
- ADD a comment / VIEW UNREAD comment (more than one)
Tip:
While entering a comment, you can also (re)-assign the message to the most appropriate user(s) at the same time.
On the left side of each message there is a small icon indicating the danger likeliness of messages.
Explanation of icons:
- the message is most likely safe to open and use
- this message exhibits some dangerous properties, e.g. .zip attachments
Tip: Apart from Taroby being trained in having its own logic to detect potentially harmful messages, everyone in the team has the ability to click on the above icons and thereby changing the message status manually from "safe" to "unsafe" or vice-versa.
Similar to the virus detection, Taroby has an inbuilt junk filter system that keeps learning all the time when you train it. All you need to do is mark junk messages first for some time, until Taroby has learnt what "junk" for you individually means.
Example:
To mark a message as Junk, click on the "
" symbol before the date field column of the message. This symbol will then change into
- thus indicating that this is a junk message.
Tip:
In the actual application you can delete all junk messages at once by performing the command "Delete all Junk Messages" from the Content Menu (right mouse click) >> Commands >> Junk-Control >> ...
Taroby users can choose, if junk shall be deleted, collected or moved to the junk folder automatically.
There are many other great functions which we'd like to show you, but any tour will always be too short to appreciate what all Taroby can do for your team, time and communication. So why don't you try it out for yourself now? It's free!!!
